Our massage therapy school offers a multi-media approach to education in which all student learning styles (auditory, visual, and tactile-kinesthetic) are supported. Whenever possible we offer a hands-on approach to learning which is demonstrated by use of the Maniken for the Zoologik™ System of Human Anatomy in Clay™ in the Anatomy and Physiology instruction.

The Houston School of Massage has quickly become a well known name within massage therapy schools in Houston metropolitan areas, and our director – Jose E. Carrillo – is also well recognized in his field. Jose has been a successful businessman and massage therapist since 1998. He has had a private massage practice, has worked at several major Houston spas, served as a spa consultant, and has been an instructor and administrator. Because he has worked inside many massage therapy schools in the Houston area and researched the operations of other reputable massage schools across the country, Jose knows what is required to offer students the best possible education.

Jose brings both an ethical and structured approach to the business of massage therapy that is reflected in the activities and operation of the Houston School of Massage. Jose has assembled the staff and resources to achieve his goal of making the Houston School of Massage the premiere massage therapy school in Houston.
